Humble Beginnings

Back in 2020, while restoring a beautiful old concrete barn into an accommodation on the Havelock Hills of Hawke's Bay, I quickly realised that the hot, dry summers demanded a pool to cool off in. A pool quickly became a priority for me. However, with the barn needing repairs and money spent in every corner, I took a creative approach - I trucked in an old concrete water tank from the farm, cut it in half, and added concrete steps to create the very first Plungee!

Though a bit rough around the edges, this repurposed tank became the prototype for Plungee. In the years since, it’s been tried and tested—family, friends, and guests have been plunging, jumping, and swimming at Tiger House ever since. The Plungee has proven to be the perfect little pool, boosting summer bookings and adding real value to the property. It’s a small investment that has delivered a great return.

Plungee pools are built from solid concrete and sculpturally designed to enhance the look of any garden. Cost-effectiveness was a key objective, as we wanted to make an attractive pool accessible to everyone - a pool you can landscape, love, and enjoy forever. They’re affordable and easy to clean and maintain. They are small on space but deep, which the kids love for endless pool play.

My Plungee has given me so much pleasure that I decided to build a business to bring one to your garden, too. I've designed two Plungees that I believe are the perfect size, depth, and shape, and I look forward to helping you create a special corner of your garden for a Plungee. I promise you won’t regret it!
